AI Certification in Kenya

Kenya has become one of the largest sources of AI data work in the world. Annotation, transcription and evaluation tasks are routinely routed to Nairobi, Mombasa and remote teams across the country, and the bottleneck is no longer internet access — it is proof of skill.

What employers and platforms screen for

Platforms hiring in Kenya screen for the same things everywhere: can you follow a labelling guideline exactly, do you know what a tight bounding box is, and can you defend a judgement in writing. A certificate that records a scored assessment answers those questions before the first task is assigned.

Where the work is

Start with annotation

The Starter Track costs $25 once, per certificate, and covers the six annotation skills most task queues ask for. Study is free; you only pay after you pass an exam.

Anyone in Kenya can start today

Everything runs in a browser on a phone. No downloads, no office, no fee to study. If you cannot pay by card, email the registry and we will send mobile-money instructions.
