LiDAR Annotation Certification
3D cuboids, point-density limits and sensor-fusion offsets for autonomous-driving datasets.
What this certification covers
LiDAR Annotation sits in the Data Annotation & Labeling track (Expert). You read 3 written modules in order — each one has to be completed before the next opens — then sit a ten-question exam marked on our servers against a fixed answer key. Pass at 80% and the certificate is issued.
01Cuboid placement75 min
- Fit 3D boxes to sparse point clouds
- Set heading and ground reference
02Sensor fusion70 min
- Align LiDAR with camera projections
- Resolve parallax disagreement
03Track coherence60 min
- Keep IDs stable across sweeps
- Audit a full sequence
Concepts tested
Cuboid yaw
The heading angle that governs the length and width axes of a 3D box.
Ground plane reference
The fitted surface that anchors the bottom face height.
Point density limit
The sparsest evidence accepted before an object is boxed.
Fusion offset
The correction applied where camera and LiDAR disagree.
Track coherence
Consistent identity and geometry across consecutive sweeps.
